marimekko fall preview

my sewing skills are not the best but even so, i find myself taking on sewing projects from time to time. textile arts is my go-to site anytime i need a marimekko fix. recently i received an email from textile arts previewing the new fall marimekko range. and just when i thought that marimekko couldn't possibly outdo themselves, well, they totally went and outdid themselves!

and apparently marimekko is also now offering a range of 100% certified organic cotton canvas fabrics, at just under $40 per yard-

and maybe because nat recently destroyed one of my best tea towels while completing a manly house chore, i have been obsessed with finding a replacement. i took a look-see and immediately swooned over these lovely designs-

now i just need to come up with a new sewing project!
