opposite day!

ever since i can remember, i have been obsessed with fashion. and ever since i can remember, my fashion philosophy relating to dressing for the seasons has been this- do everything in the opposite! at least, when it comes to seasonal color norms.

example- in the summer i like to wear dark colors and dark nail enamels and go without perfume. in the fall & winter i like to wear bright colors, light metallic nail enamels and fruity perfumes (think comptoir sud pacifique). what about spring you ask?? jewel tones and jeans.

so given all that, i am finding my nearly completed fall line for abt Arcade is a bit on the dark side. i blame it on my obsession with bronze chain. it's rich, earthy tones are just something i'm feeling now while the sun is still out. to offset it, i am adding shots of color here and there with reclaimed vintage beads.
